Michele Ansede - Hospital Manager
Michele's love for animals dates back to her early childhood where she grew up showing goats and horses and eventually started exercising and training race horses and went on to become an English riding instructor.
She is a graduate of Centenary College of New Jersey where she majored in Equine Sciences. While working with horses she joined a small animal practice where she began her career in veterinary business management. Over a fourteen year period she has worked in several animal hospitals including specialty, emergency and equine practices. She and Dr. Frank were married in 1995 and began making plans to establish North Carolina as their home. Dr. Frank had developed a love of the South and Michele had spent a good part of her childhood summers in the Beaufort area of North Carolina where she has family.
Her life's pursuit has always been the care of her family and the dogs, cats and horses which live in the sanctuary she has created. The Ansede Animal Hospital represents a logical next step in the pursuit of her life's work. It enables the education of clients so they can make educated choices about their pets healthcare, lengthening their pets' lives and further enhancing the human-animal bond.
